100,000 expected at Bloom festival
Thousands of families from across the country are making their way to the Phoenix Park in Dublin for Bloom.
Over 100,000 people expected at Ireland's largest horticulture and food festival.
The flower show is home to more than 60 exhibits from top experts. Organiser Gary Graham said the poor weather should not be a deterrent.
"You know what the Irish weather is like: we're told it's going to be rainy, and it's sunny; we're told it's going to be sunny and it rains.
"We always tell people to prepare - bring proper footwear, bring the rain coat - but also bring the sun cream. You just don't know what's going to happen.
"We've got four and a half acres of marquees - we've got the biggest marquee in the country, so nobody should get wet once they get here."
