Two still in custody after iron bar attack in Cork

Two men remain in custody in Cork after a businessman was beaten with an iron bar during an attempted robbery.

The man in his 30s was parking his van in the Churchfield Industrial Estate on the north side of the city at around 5pm yesterday evening, when he was confronted and threatened by men demanding cash.
