Disabled people at a care home were shouted at by staff and endured name-calling, a watchdog has revealed.

The Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa) said residents and employees at St Anne’s centre for the disabled in Tipperary were left highly vulnerable as no staff were present during an inspection who could use hands-on restraints, including so-called figure-four holds.
