DSPCA wants end to mass breeding on puppy farms

An animal welfare group is attempting to compile a list of all the puppy farms in Ireland.

The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals wants to put an end to mass breeding, which it says shows no regard for the welfare of dogs.

It is estimated that up to half of all dogs sold online originate from puppy farms.
