Sanctuary nightclub to close doors tonight as mark of respect to Karen

The nightclub where Karen Buckley's friends last saw her is to stay closed tonight as a mark of respect to the missing Cork woman.
Karen left Glasgow's The Sanctuary nightclub in the early hours of last Sunday morning. Nothing has been heard from her since.
A message on the nightclub's Facebook page said: "Heartbreaking news about Karen Buckley, our thoughts are with all her family and friends at this difficult time.
"As a mark of respect for Karen, we will not be opening the Sanctuary tonight. RIP Karen."
Police investigating Karen's disappearance have discovered remains at a farm a few miles from Glasgow. No formal identification has taken place, and a post mortem is being carried out this afternoon.

As police remained at the site of High Craigton Farm today, donations poured into a fund set up by her former nursing classmates from Limerick University.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Karen's disappearance and is expected to face charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
