Hit-and-run seriously injures child in Dublin

A toddler is in a serious condition in hospital, after she was knocked down by a car in a hit-and-run in Dublin's Phoenix Park this evening.

Gardai are investigating the incident which happened on the North Road at around 6.30pm.
