Gas Networks Ireland to hire first apprentices in 30 years

Gas Networks Ireland has announced plans to hire their first apprentices in 30 years.

Fifty new jobs at the company will be available as part of the plans.

The scheme is being run in conjunction with the further education and training authority Solas.

The programme will take four years. Successful candidates will earn a FETAC level 6 qualification on completion.

Applications are open until April 25.
