Man charged in connection with Kildare house fires
A man has been charged in connection with a number of fires at Millfield Manor estate, Newbridge, Co Kildare.
The 39-year-old will appear before Naas District Court at 10.30am today.

The man was arrested on Tuesday evening and detained at Newbridge Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The house fire occurred last Tuesday at approximately 4pm.

Gardaà and Fire Service attended the scene and a number of houses were evacuated.
Six properties were extensively damaged. All occupants have been accounted for and no injuries were reported.
