Cork punter scoops €33k on €1 EuroMillions bet
A Cork based punter scooped a nice little earner on last night’s last night after winning €33,000 on a bet.
The punter placed a single euro on four numbers to appear in last night’s main EuroMillions draw and fortunately they all came up.
8, 20, 24, and 28 were the lucky numbers for the winning bet - which was placed at a BoyleSports shop in the sound of the county.
Amazingly, had the punter just done the regular EuroMillions, with those numbers included, they would have only won €108 for matching four numbers.
