Gardaí probe letter bomb hoax at Mullingar psychiatric hospital

10 staff at St Loman's psychiatric hospital in Mullingar have been released from quarantine after an alleged bomb threat turned out to be a hoax.

Gardaí were called to the scene this afternoon after a member of administrative staff is understood to have opened a letter that contained white powder.
