Motorists warned about driving the day after

Motorists are being advised not to drive this morning if they over-indulged for St Patrick's Day.

Twice as many arrests are made for drink-driving on the national holiday and the day after, than on other days during the month of March.

Gardaí say they will be out in force right around the country as the celebrations come to an end for another year.
