They were among seven people arrested after Gardaí stopped and searched a van in Artane on Friday afternoon.

Julian O’Connor of St. Brigid’s Road, Artane is charged with having tools with intent to carry out a burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.

He was refused bail.

His two co-accused, Derek Mitchell of Moatview Avenue, Coolock, and Patrick Macken of The Sycamore, Clonshaugh Woods are facing the same charges.

They were granted bail and are due back in court in May while Mr. O’Connor will appear before Cloverhill District Court on Wednesday.
