A father and a son will appear in court today charged with the murder of 63-year-old Bernard McGinley in Fermanagh last month.

A father and a son will appear in court today charged with the murder of 63-year-old Bernard McGinley in Fermanagh last month.

Mr McGinley was shot dead outside a traveller wedding at St Mary's Church in Newtownbutler on February 11.

26-year-old William McGinley, a grand-nephew of Bernard, and his father 46-year-old Patrick McGinley, both from Lisfarrell, Edgeworthstown in Co Longford, will appear via video-link in court in Enniskillen charged with the murder.

William McGinley is also charged with attempting to murder the victim's son.
