Search off the Clare coast for surfer reported missing

A search is underway off the coast of Co Clare after a surfer was reported missing earlier this evening.

Two RNLI Lifeboats from the Aran Islands were launched at around 8pm north of the Cliffs of Moher where sea conditions in the area are being described as difficult.
