PSNI catch escaped prisoner in Belfast

The PSNI have apprehended an escaped prisoner.

53-year-old Samuel McKinley, who is convicted of murder, failed to return to Maghaberry prison on December 22, 2014.

He was found in north Belfast at just after 5am today and is being returned to prison.

The North's Public Prosecution Service will be sent a file for review.
