Children's Rights Alliance: Children the real victims of recession

The Government is being told to uphold its international obligations and ensure children's rights are being met.

The Children's Rights Alliance - which is launching its annual report card today - says children are the real victims of the recession.

The report card will rate the Government's performance on the issues affecting children and compare it with commitments made in the Programme for Government.

It will also highlight the areas which require urgent improvement, and issue recommendations.
