Bomb Disposal Team called to deal with Cork device
The Army Bomb Disposal Team has been called to investigate a suspected pipe bomb in Cork city.
The device is believed to be in the Killala Gardens area of Knocknaheeny in the city.
The area has been sealed off and Gardaí are on the scene.
The discovery was made shortly before 8am.

People living in houses in the immediate vicinity have been evacuated as a safety precaution and roads in the area are closed to traffic.
