There has been a warning that the trolley crisis in our hospitals will not be resolved without additional beds being made available across the health system.

The Irish Medical Organisation is this morning responding to yesterday's figures, which showed there were 523 people waiting on trolleys or for admission to a ward in hospitals across the country.
