Gardaí appeal for witnesses after road accident leaves woman in critical condition

A woman is being treated in hospital for injuries which are described as critical following a serious collision in Dublin yesterday evening.
The incident, involving a car - a silver Opel Astra - and a cyclist happened on the Malahide Road, at the junction with Greencastle Road, shortly before 7pm.
The 45 year-old woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital. The driver of the car - a man in his early 60s - was uninjured.
