'Ongoing incident' at republican jail wing in the North

An “ongoing incident” at a prison in the North which houses dissident republican inmates is being dealt with by prisons authorities.
It is understood the incident is at Roe House, a building at Maghaberry Prison where republican inmates are held separately from other prisoners.
A spokesman from the North’s prison service said: “We can confirm there is an ongoing incident at Maghaberry.
“The Prison Service is currently working to bring this to a resolution.”
Maghaberry in Co Antrim is the North’s only high-security jail.
It houses men convicted of serious offences and remand prisoners awaiting trial in separated and integrated conditions.
