Gardaí appeal for information after armed robbery in Co Kildare

Gardaí are investigating an armed robbery at a service station in Co Kildare this morning.

A man armed with a shotgun entered the premises on the N7 near Kill at about 7.30am.

He threatened staff before escaping with a small amount of cash in a 08-K-registered grey BMW car, travelling northbound towards Dublin.

Gardaí have said the man was about 5ft 5’ tall, of stocky build and had his face covered with a scarf.

Officers in Naas are investigating and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
