Gardaí investigate dead body found behind house in Limerick

A woman's body has been found in Co Limerick.

The body of the woman, believed to be in her early 50s, was discovered at the rear of a house at Ballygibba, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick this afternoon at around 2.30pm.

Gardaí in Bruff are investigating and the body remains at scene.

The State Pathologist has been contacted and Gardaí will carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
