Garda water unit finds body in search for missing Dublin woman

A body has been found in the search for missing woman Marian Power in Dublin.

60-year-old Marian had been missing from Lucan since 9am on Monday morning.

More than 200 volunteers took part in a major search operation in the last six days.

The Garda water unit discovered the body in the River Liffey at Strawberry Beds shortly after lunchtime this afternoon.

The remains have been taken to Blanchardstown Hospital.
