Garda arrested in Sligo in connection with drug activity

A female garda has been arrested in Sligo over drugs-related activities.

At around 6.30pm yesterday evening, gardaí in Sligo, assisted by the National Support Services, arrested the Dublin-based garda in her early-30s.

A man in his 30s was also detained.

They are being questioned at Sligo garda station.
