Jail for Clare man who sexually abused his two daughters

An 80-year-old man has been sent to prison today for four-and-a-half years for sexually abusing his two daughters in Co Clare in the early 1970s.

The man - who cannot be named in order to protect the identity of his victims - was found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault after a week-long trial at the Central Criminal Court last month.
