Samaritans reports rise in calls over financial worries

The Samaritans said there was an increase in people making contact to discuss financial concerns last year.

An annual snapshot survey taken by the charity in Ireland and a number of UK branches between 24 and 30 November last year shows over 2,000 people made contact and over 20% discussed their financial worries.
