Govt puts out tender to rid department of seagulls

The Government wants to get rid of seagulls around the Department of Health in Dublin.

A tender has been advertised for "a professional pest control company to provide a suitable deterrent system or process to eliminate the birds" from the roof of Hawkins House in Dublin 2.

Last year Fianna Fáil Senator Ned O'Sullivan called for the Environment Minister to intervene and take action against seagulls in Dublin.

Mr O'Sullivan said at the time that the seagulls .
