A blaze has broken out at a disused cinema in Dublin.

Firefighters were called to the building on the South Circular Road a short time ago.

Six fire trucks are now involved in the battled to bring the flames under control.

The 1,600-seat cinema at Rialto opened in November 1936 but closed in the early 70s.
