Police in Antrim are treating the death of a man in his 60s overnight as murder.

Police in Antrim are treating the death of a man in his 60s overnight as murder.

It follows an incident in the Caddy Road area of Randalstown, shortly after midnight, which police say is believed to have involved a number of vehicles.

A woman - believed to be aged in her 50s - was also assaulted and taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
