A car is blocking a LUAS line in Dublin, after hitting an electricity sub-station and ending up on the tracks.

A car is blocking a LUAS line in Dublin, after hitting an electricity sub-station and ending up on the tracks.

It happened on Ballyogan Road in Leopardstown.

As a result, Green Line trams are only operating St Stephen's Green and Sandyford, with Dublin Bus accepting LUAS tickets.

The driver of the car was arrested at the scene.
