Murder probe after man shot dead in Antrim

A man in his 40s has been shot dead in Antrim, police said.

He was attacked outside a house in Riverview Park in Ballymoney, Co Antrim, the PSNI said.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Campbell said the incident happened just before 10.30pm last night.

A woman was assaulted and taken to hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives have launched a murder investigation.
