An investigation is underway after a stabbing in Dublin's north inner city last night.

An investigation is underway after a stabbing in Dublin's north inner city last night.

A man was rushed to the Mater Hospital after the incident on Talbot Street shortly before 8pm.

Gardaí say the man sustained minor injuries.
