Security alert in Derry ends, declared a hoax

A security alert in Magherafelt in Derry has ended.

An object, which was found near a house at Derramore Park, has been declared a hoax following an examination by an Army bomb disposal team.

The alert was raised by a resident at about 12.30pm and the examination was completed after 3.30pm.
