Cork deaths: Dead couple's daughter raised alarm as sister lay critically injured

A daughter of a couple stabbed to death in Cobh raised the alarm as the tragedy unfolded, it is being reported.
Another daughter was critically injured in the incident. It is understood she was also stabbed. She has been taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called to the scene at O'Neill Place, Cobh, Carrigafoy in Co Cork at about 3.30pm this afternoon.
The husband and wife were found there and were declared dead. Their critically ill daughter has been rushed to Cork University Hospital.

The area in Cobh has been declared a crime scene and has been sealed off.
Gardaí are not believed to be looking for anyone else in relation to the stabbings.
