Dead couple's daughter critically ill after fatal stabbing
A husband and wife in their late 40s have been found stabbed to death at a house in Cobh in Co Cork.
The couple's daughter is critically ill and fighting for her life after injuries it is believed she sustained in the same incident.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at a house in O'Neill's Place, Carrigafoy in Cobh, Co Cork at about 3.30pm today.
The man and woman, who were in their late 40s, were found dead at the scene and their daughter - understood to be in her early 20s - is being treated for her critical injuries.
The area in Cobh has been declared a crime scene.
Gardaí are not believed to be looking for anyone else in relation to the stabbings.
