North and West get ice and snow warning

Met Éireann has issued a snow and ice warning for Connacht and some northern counties.

Counties Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Longford and Westmeath, as well as the west of the country, are expected to get heavy rain that will come down as sleet, turning to snow on lower ground this afternoon and evening.
