Gardiner Street residents back in homes before Christmas
25 elderly residents of social housing in Dublin's North Inner City will be back in their homes before Christmas.
It follows a dispute between the housing charity CHAS and Dublin City Council over how much rent the tenants should pay.
Father Scully House on Gardiner Street has been redeveloped with €17m in State funding and now comprises 99 apartments.
The tenants moved out in 2006 to allow for the demolition of their homes.
