Revenue seizes 2,000 pairs of counterfeit runners in Cork

Officers from Revenue have seized a shipment of 2,000 pairs of counterfeit Nike runners with an estimated value of €292,000.

Officials say the seizure was the result of "routine profiling", and the runners were discovered in a shipping container coming from China.
