Two elderly sisters are recovering in hospital after suffering suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at their Cork home.

Neighbours who were concerned for the women alerted Gardaí, who found the women, aged 82 and 92, unconscious on the floor of their home in Blarney Street in Cork city earlier today.
