Man seriously hurt in Dublin collision

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Dublin this morning.

The 25-year-old was hit by a car as he was walking at the junction of the Crumlin Rd and Bangor Rd at around 6am

He was taken to St James' Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

The road is currently closed and diversions are in place.

Gardaí at Sundrive are appealing for witnesses.
