A man who caused the death of a young father and husband by driving dangerously on St Patrick's Day 2010 has had his seven year sentence reduced to five by the Court of Appeal.

James McDonagh (54) with a last address at Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, had pleaded guilty to a single count of dangerous driving causing death on February 24 2012.
