Fatal Ballyfermot assault believed to have happened at rave
A man in his 20s has died after an assault which is believed to have taken place at a rave in Dublin.
Gardai were called to an incident, believed to be a rave at a unit in Parkwest, Ballyfermot at around 4am today.
They found the injured man at the scene. He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The dead man has been identified, but his name has not yet been released.
The scene has been preserved for forensic examination and the office of the State Pathologist has has been notified.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
