Bailey wrote about du Plantier case despite 'growing apprehension' he was a suspect

Ian Bailey has told the High Court he pulled back from writing articles about Sophie Toscan du Plantier's murder over concerns the story was having a "profound effect" on the community in West Cork.

The court has been hearing that the former freelance journalist wrote about the French film producer's violent death for The Sunday Tribune and The Star.
