Cyclist hit by lorry in Co Down

A lorry has collided with a male cyclist on the main Dublin road in Co Down.

The serious accident happened on the A1 between Dromore and Hillsborough and the arterial route was closed in both directions between the villages, a PSNI spokeswoman said.
