Beef Forum set for price discussions

A meeting of the Beef Forum, including farmers and meat processors, will take place later in an effort to resolve the beef price dispute.

Farmers held a 48 hour demonstration, which ended yesterday afternoon, at 14 meat processing plants around the country.

Earlier this week the Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney said he is confident that solutions and compromises acceptable to both farmers as well meat factories will be achieved.
