Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to a hit and run near Raheny in Dublin last Saturday night.

It happened on the Howth Road close to Raheny Village, outside the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, at around 10.30pm.

A 30-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car which failed to stop.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is described as being in a stable condition.

Anyone who may have been in the area between 10.10pm and 10.45pm last Saturday night is asked to contact Raheny Gardaí.
