Man arrested after probe into Dublin explosion in March

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with an explosion in the city centre earlier this year.

The man, who is in his 20s, was detained this morning and is being questioned at Kevin Street Garda Station.

A car was found on fire following the explosion which happened at Long Lane in Dublin 8 at around 11pm on the night of March 30.

The gardaí are also appealing for the public’s help on the matter.

In particular they are seeking a taxi driver who they believed picked up a fare of male passenger, who was injured and was bleeding, from the area that night.
