'Once you find someone to love, you're away': LGBT matchmaking in Lisdoonvarna

Visitors have travelled from all over the world to Co Clare this weekend in search of love.

The world's first ever LGBT matchmaking festival is continuing in Lisdoonvarna today.

Now in its second year The Outing is described as a traditional matchmaking festival with a gay twist.

Organiser Eddie McGuinness said couples who found love last year have returned to celebrate this weekend.

"Yep, a couple from last year are here this weekend," he said. "We're always looking for love…We know it could last for a day, a week, a month, a year or a lifetime.

"Once you find someone to love, then you're away."
