Dublin councils issue zero litter fines on beaches, despite summer cleanup

Despite piles of rubbish being collected on beaches across Dublin, no litter fines were issued by two Councils.

Thousands of people flocked to beaches like Dollymount, Sandymount and Merrion strand during the good weather.

However, Dublin City Council and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council failed to issue a single fine between March and August.
