Martin: Seanad election should be called off amid candidates scandal

The Fianna Fáil leader has called for the Seanad by-election to be abandoned, amid controversy over how Fine Gael's candidate was appointed to a state board.

"I think it's playing fast and loose with the rules, of that there's no doubt," he said.
